Speaking & advisory

Useful conversations.

I am available for talks, panels, and occasional advisory work on product, digital strategy, and event content. No polished theatre required.

Conversation starters

01

Building for real people

What product work looks like when you start with the person on the other side, not the feature list.

02

When digital gets serious

Lessons from live sport, broadcast, and the moments where “mostly works” is not enough.

03

From idea to something useful

How to test, shape, and ship a product without hiding behind a big process.

04

People, pace, and perspective

Motivational talks about engaging teams, building with people, putting humanity back at the heart of products, and what life in the mountains and slower living can teach us about better work.

Building a product community

Manchester needed a room for product people.

I brought ProductTank to Manchester, then ran a Mind the Product Engage conference in the city. It meant sharing the stage with brilliant product leaders - and future PM, Andy Burnham - while helping build the kind of product community I wanted to be part of.

Advisory

Sometimes the useful thing is a second pair of eyes.

I take on a small amount of advisory work for teams working through product direction, digital strategy, or an important moment in their calendar.
